The western coast of India receives convectional type of rainfall.

In conventional rainfall generally the land warms up and it heats the air present there which causes it to expand and rise.

Further, the air rises it cools and it then condenses to form the rain.

This process is continued till the rain fall. Thus, this phenomenon take place in western coast of India.
