The speed of the bus is approximately 47.37 kilometres per hour.

Given data :

Radius of the bus wheel is 0.75 metres.

Revolution is half minute is 84.

• The wheel rotates ;

In 1/2 minutes for = 84 times

In 1 minute for = 84×2 = 168 times

In 60 minutes for = 168×60 = 10080 times

• The circumference of the wheel is = 2×π×radius

= 2×22/7 × 0.75

= 4.7 metres

• Now,the circumference is the distance covered in one revolution by the wheel.

• And we know that the wheel makes revolution for 10080 times in a hour.

• So,the distance covered in one hour = distance covered in one revolution × total revolutions in 1 hour = 10080×4.7 = 47376 metre = 47.37 kilometres (approximately)

• So,the approximate velocity of that bus is 47.37 kilometres per hour.
