We have many cell organnels in a cell which has different functions.

The powerhouse of the cell is MITOCHONDRIA.

It is known as the powerhouse of the cell because MITOCHONDRIA produces energy in form of ATP {Adenosine Tri Phosphate} and ATP provides energy for all chemical and metabolism reaction's.

MITOCHONDRIA are also called strange organnels as they have their own DNA and Ribosomes so they make some of their own proteins.
