the white man's God cannot love our people or he would protect them. they seem to be orphans who can look nowhere for help. How then can we be brothers? How can your God became Our God and renew our prosperity and awaken in us dreams of returning greatness? If we have a common heavenly father he must be partial, for he came to his paleface children we never saw he gave you laws but have not word for his red children whose teeming multitudes once filled this vast continent as stars fill the firmament. No;we are two district races with separate origin and separate destinies. There is little in common between us. In what respect does chief Seattle wish their father in Washington to regard the the tribals his own children?

Hello thanks for asking us a question. i will try my best to answer it.

Chief Seattle wan a significant and valuable person in the early America history. He was the chief of two different tribes which is called 1. Suquamish and 2. Duwamish. He fights for the  rights of his people.

His speech was given to his people when white people wanted to buy Native land of his tribe and in return offered them to live in a small place in the land which is comfortable enough for them to live in it. A san experienced person as he have seen many Native killed and experienced many thing he accepted the offer as he doesn't want get more Native killed by rejection of the proposal.

His speech was for his people to understand their weak position in politics and helping them to understand transition they were to now force to make. It is considered as a legendary speech by Native people of America to do this day as it sum up their unfortunate situation in front of  Whites

Chief describe Red men as orange because there is no one that can help the nor care for them. so that why Red and White men can never be brothers nor their God will be same.Chief Seattle wants the father in Washington to regard the natives his own children by imposing the same laws that are for White Americans. He objects that the White administrators tribes rather harshly, and treating them badly far different from white people. they treat them differently by forcing them selves into the native lands and by not respecting the common rights of the native America
