Given :-

Width of the milk carton = 6 cm

Length of the milk carton = 50 cm

To Find :-

The height of the cuboid milk carton.

Analysis :-

At first, we have to capacity of milk carton by converting it to centimeter cube.

Then make an equation accordingly.

Substitute the given values by it's respective formula accordingly.

Solution :-

  • l = Length
  • b = Breadth
  • h = Height

Let the height of the milk carton be 'h'.

Given that, Capacity of milk carton = 3 liters = 3000 cm³

By the formula,

\underline{\boxed{\sf Volume \ of \ a \ cuboid=Length \times Breadth \times Height}}

Given that,

Volume = 3000 cm³

Length (l) = 50 cm

Breadth (b) = 6 cm

Substituting their values,

50 × 6 × h = 3000

300h = 3000

Finding the value of h,

h = 3000/300

h = 10 cm

Therefore, the height is 10 cm.

Step-by-step explanation:

VOLUME OF CUBOID= L × B × H

Given that,

Volume = 3000 cm³

Length (l) = 50 cm

Breadth (b) = 6 cm

Substituting their values,

50 × 6 × h = 3000

300h = 3000

Finding the value of h,

h = 3000/300

h = 10 cm

Therefore, the height is 10 cm.
