84 = x. × x-5
84 = x^2 -5x
0 = x^2 -5x -84
= by quadratic formula
= -b + √b^2- 4ac/2a
=-(-5)√-5^2-4×1×-84/2×1
= 5+√25+336/2
= 5+√361/2
= 5+19/2 = 24/2=12
= 5-19/2=-14/2.
= -7
