Solution:
Length of the cloth required to make a napkin = 50 cm
Breadth of the cloth required to make a napkin = 17 cm
Area of each napkin = 50*17
Area of each napkin = 850 sq cm
Area of 2500 napkins = 2500*850
= 2125000 sq cm
Area of the whole cloth material = Area of 2500 napkins
Width of the cloth material = 17 m or 1700 cm
So, length of the whole cloth material = Area/width
= 2125000/1700
Length of the cloth required to make 2500 napkins = 1250 cm or 12.5 m

Answer:

l=1250cm

Step-by-step explanation:

l = 50cm \\ b = 17cm \\ area \: of \: the \: cloth = l \times b \\  = 50 \times 17 \\  = 850 {cm}^{2}  \\ area \: of \: whoe \: cloth \: material = 2500 \times 850 \\  = 2125000 {cm}^{2}  \\ l =  \frac{area}{width}  \\ l =  \frac{2125000}{1700}  \\ l = 1250cm
