let the length be x m

so the breadth will be 2x/3

perimeter is 50 m

perimeter = 2(length + breadth)

50 = 2(x + 2x/3)

50 = 2x + 4x/3

50 = 6x + 4x /3

150 = 10x

x = 150/10

x = 15m

So length = 15m

Breadth = 2x/3 = 2 × 15/3 = 30 /3 = 10m
