The width of a rectangle container is 2 meters less that the length and the height is 1 meter less than the length. Find the dimension of the container if its volume is 60 m3?​

According to the given data in the question the container is cuboidal in shape

Now, let the length be 'x' then width will be 'x-2' and height will be 'x-1'

as we all know, volume of cuboid = l*b*h

using the formulae and data

x(x-1) (x-2) =60

from here either you can use synthetic division ( which is a very complicated method) or use some common sense like

put the values in x to get ur desired result like

if we put x=5 the equation will satisfy

hence, the answer is 5 , hope it helps
