Let the length be x cm
width is
 width \: is \: \frac{3}{4} x \\ perimeter \:  = 2(l + b) \\ 252 = 2(x +  \frac{3}{4}x) \\  \frac{252}{2}  = x +  \frac{3}{4}x \\ 126 =  \frac{4x + 3x}{4}   \\ 126 \times 4 = 7x \\ x =  \frac{126 \times 4}{7}  \\ x = 18 \times 4 \\ x = 72
the length is 72 cm
width =  \frac{3}{4} x =  \frac{3}{4}  \times 72 \\  = 54 \: cm

Solution :-

● Perimeter of rec = 2 ( l + b )

puting those values into your formula and solve for x:

252=2(x)+2(3/4)x

252=2x+6/4x

252=2x+3/2x

252=(4/2)x+(3/2)x

252=(7/2)x

2(252)=2(7/2)x

504=7x

504/7=x

72=x

Length: x=72 cm

Width:(3/4)(72)= 54 cm ans
