The width of a rectangle is four meters less than the length. The perimeter is 52 meters. Find the length and width (in meters).

Answer:

b=l-4meter

perimeter =2 (l+b )

52 =2(l+l-4)

26=2l-4

22=2l

l=11 m

b= 11-4

=7 m
