Answer:

l=54m

r=36m

Step-by-step explanation:

let the length of the rectangle be xm

thus ,width of the rectangle =2x/3

given,

perimeter of the rectangle is 180

=2(x+2x/3)=180

=2(3x+2x/3)=180

=2(5x)=180*3[by cross multiplication ]

=10x =540

x=54

now , width of the rectangle =2x /3 =2*54/3

=36m

hence the length of the rectangle in 54m, and breadth of the rectangle is 36m

hope it helps

Let the length of the rectangle be x,

Perimeter = 2(l+b)

180= 2(x+\frac{1}{3}x)

\frac{180}{2} = x+ \frac{1}{3} x

90 = x+\frac{1}{3} x

90/\frac{1}{3}= x+x

90*3 = 2x

270= 2x\\\\\frac{270}{2} = x\\\\135= x

Length is 135 m.

Breadth = \frac{1}{3} * 135 = 45m

So the dimensions are 135m and 45m.
