let the length be x

breadth be 3/4x

p=28 cm

2(l+b)=28cm

2(x+3/4x)=28

14=7x/4

x=8

length=8 cm

breadth =6 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the length be x metre

Width is 3/4 of x metre

= (3/4×x) m

= 3x/4 m

Perimeter = 28 m

By condition

2(L+B) = Perimeter

2(x+3x/4) = 28

2x+3x/2 = 28

7x/2 = 28

x = 28×2/7

x = 8

Length = 8 m

Breadth = (3×8/4) m

= 6 m
