The width of a rectangle is three meter shorter than its length. If its perimeter is 54meter, find the measurements of the sides of the rectangle

Let's take,

Width = x

Length= x+3

Perimeter = 54

2(x+x+3)=54

2(2x+3)=54

2x+3=54/2=27

2x+3=27

2x=27-3=24

x=24/2=12

Width= 12 meter

Length =12+3 =15 meter
