Let length of the rectangle be x cm

Width of the rectangle = b =( 2/3 )x

Perimeter = 2(l+b) = 135 cm

2( x+ 2x/ 3 ) = 135

2( 3x+ 2x / 3 ) = 135

2 (5x/ 3) = 135

10x = 405

x= 40.5 cm

Width = 2/3 * 40.5 = 81 / 3 = 27cm

Dimension of the rectangle = 40.5 x 27 cm.

check

Length = 40.5 cm

Breadth = 27cm

Perimeter = 2(l + b )= 2(40.5+27) = 2(67.5) = 135cm

hope it will help uh

Answer:

answer is 135 .

Step-by-step explanation:

Let length of the rectangle be x cm

Width of the rectangle = b =( 2/3 )x

Perimeter = 2(l+b) = 135 cm

2( x+ 2x/ 3 ) = 135The width of a rectangle is two-thirds of its length. If the perimeter of the triangle is 135 cm, what is the dimension of the rectangle?

Let length of the rectangle be x cm

Width of the rectangle = b =( 2/3 )x

Perimeter = 2(l+b) = 135 cm

2( x+ 2x/ 3 ) = 135

2( 3x+ 2x / 3 ) = 135

2 (5x/ 3) = 135

10x = 405

x= 40.5 cm

Width = 2/3 * 40.5 = 81 / 3 = 27cm

Dimension of the rectangle = 40.5 x 27 cmLength = 40.5 cm

Breadth = 27cm

Perimeter = 2(l + b )= 2(40.5+27) = 2(67.5) = 135cm
