let width be 'b' and length be 'a'
now according to the question
b = 2/3a ........(1)
now perimeter of rectangle = 2(a + b)
180 = 2 ( a + b ) .......(2)
now put value of b from eq (1) in eq (2)
we get, 180 = 2 ( a + 2/3a )
180/2 = (3a+ 2a)/3
90 = ( 3a + 2a )/3
90 × 3 = 5a
270 = 5a
54 = a
putting value of a in eq (1)
we get, b = 2/3 × 54
b = 2 × 18
b = 36
hence, the dimensions of rectangle are
54 and 36.
