y=2(x+4x/7)
y= 2x+8/7 x
y=14x+8x/7
y=22x/7---} equation...
y=4400
so,22x/7=4400
22x= 4400*7
x=4400*7/22
x=200*7
x = 1400
length =1400cm...

mayank174: with steps

Equation= y= 2(x +4/7*x)

Perimeter of rectangle 2(length+breadth)
4400=2(x+4/7×x)
4400=2(x+4x/7)
4400= 2x+8x/7
4400= 22x/7
4400*7= 22x
30800 = 22x
30800/22= x
1400 = x

Therefore x= 1400 is the solution of the equation.

As mentioned that the length is x and its vale is 1400

So, 1400 = length.

So the length is 1400 cm.
