The width of Ayushree's rectangular garden is two thirds of its length. If its perimeter is 40 m, find the width.

X is length and (2/3)X is width perimeter is 40,

2(l+b)is perimeter so apply formula 2(X+(2/3)X)=40

(10/3)X=40,X=40*(3/10),X=12 m ,then width =(2/3)x

width is equal to 8m.
