The women liberation movement was a collective struggle for equality started in 1960s and 1970s to get freedom for women from the oppression of male supremacy. This movement consisted of women libration groups,advocacy,and protest on behalf of women. women got the right to participate in the business of the community. They got equal rights to educate and also work at par with men. The inhuman practices of sati,dowry,and polygamy were banned. women could file for divorce and also get lawfull share in property. Women had began to get educated, earn and develop a sense of life.
