The work done by a system in a cyclic process involving one mole of an ideal monoatomic gas is -50kJ/cycle. What is the heat absorbed by the system per cycle ?

As this is a cyclic process, starting and finishing point will be the same, therefore the change in internal energy (u) will be the SAME. What ever energy absorbed or given out is gained or given again as it comes back to its initial state.
