We know that

W = F * d

Now d= 6 m

        m of bucket = 0.5 kg

        volume of water = 2.5 L

       

We know that F = ma

Here a= -9.8 m/s^2

        m = mass of bucket + mass of water

We know that density of water is 1 kg/liter

and density = mass/ volume

1= mass of water / 2.5

mass of water = 2.5 kg

m = 0.5 + 2.5

m = 3 kg

So F = 3 x -9.8

F = -29.4 N

NOW,

W = -29.4 X 6

W = 176.4 J
