Given - Point charge - 10 micro coloumb

Distance - 3 cm

Find - Work done in moving charge along equatorial acid of electric dipole.

Solution - Work done in moving charge is calculated by formula - W = qV, where w is work, q is charge and V is electric potential.

We all know that potential along the equatorial axis of dipole is zero. Therefore, keeping the values in equation-

W = 10*0

W = 0

Hence, work done will be zero.
