Explanation :- From graph DA at constant temprature [ ∴ isothermal process]

given :- n=2

p₁= 10⁵

p₂ = 2× 10⁵

Work done ( in isothermal process ) = nRTln(p₁/p₂)

⟹2.303×2R × 300log(10⁵/2× 10⁵)

⟹ 2.303 × 2R × 300 log (1/2)

⟹ 2.303× 600R (log2)⁻¹

⟹- 0.693 × 600R [ ∵ ln2 = 2.303 × log2= 0.693]

⟹ ∴ - 415.8 R

So, work done on the gas is + 415.8R
