1) there are mainly three types of courses, upper, middle and lower courses
- waterfall it often occurs when a river crosses a band of harder rocks , V shaped valley- produced in upper course because the river cuts down faster than the surroundings slopes are eroded
- when river crosses from middle course it forms meanders . in the middle course river has more energy and high volume of water so when river passes it erodes laterally .It forms large bends and horseshoe like loops which is called meanders
- In lower course channel rivers experience an increase in deposition and also form deltas because in lower courses rivers are mixed up .
2)the two effects of ocean currents are :-
- the routes of cyclonic storms are influenced by the ocean currents . cyclones are attracted by the lower pressure caused by the warning of large mass of surface water
- because of ocean currents, meeting of cold and warm currents causes dense fogs which are dangerous to ships

Answer:
- Ocean currents act much like a conveyor belt, transporting warm water and precipitation from the equator toward the poles and cold water from the poles back to the tropics. Thus, ocean currents regulate global climate, helping to counteract the uneven distribution of solar radiation reaching Earth's surface.
