The sancity of the Constitiuation of India lays on the working of the Constituent Assembly due to the following:

Explanation:

1 ) India being a land with a vast population and diversity, the constitiuation was written in such a way that every social group is included. This can be gauged from the fact that the constituent assembly consisted of members belonging to different caste, relegious, social groups. (Eg. Mr. Ambedkar was from a backward caste, and Abul Kalam hailed from a minority group)

2) The constitition was worked on for a long period of 165 days spanned over a period of 2 years 11 months and 17 days.

3) Various amendmants were taken in to consideration, and if the whole of the constituation was to be as volumes, their numbers would be of 6 bulky volumes.
