The world is a many-sided spectacle; it has its sunshine as well as shadows. Again no two persons receive the same impression from any object or experience of life. What makes one happy may only draw tears from another. and attitudes of These different reactions arise out of the varying temperaments people. Some are inclined to take an optimistic view of things; others are prove to concentrate on their seamy side. Some are highly emotional and sensitive, while others can temper their feeling with reason and intellect. Those whose approach is predominantly emotional are bound to find life a sorry affair, for at every step there is something or other which jars on or hurts their sentiment. But those who are thoughtful and balanced, know that life cannot be a bed of roses and that even in the apparently dark situations there is a silver lining, a redeeming feature.
