Answer: Energy crisis may occur in the world in the near future. The reasons to justify this statement are

as follows:

i) The demand of energy is increasing rapidly with the overpopulation, modernization, globalization etc.to get the more facilities mostly based on or to be fulfilled from the fossil fuels which are non-renewable sources of energy and are in a limited stock in nature which wouldn't bear or sustain longer; leading to the energy crisis in near future. i.e., the limited stock of the non renewable sources/fossil fuels cannot meet their increasing demand of facilities such as number of vehicles for transportation, use of different machines/devices etc.

ii) The unwise, uneconomic and irrational use of available non-renewable sources of energy and non developing and non using the appropriate alternative/renewable sources of energy, equipment and devices based on them in a sustainable and sufficient scale to address the alarming rate of increase of energy demand and dependency on fossil fuels; which may lead the energy crisis in the world soon (in near future).
