In the chapter, "The Call of the Soil" the writer disagreed with Moru Dada because he proposed the use of some pesticides on the plants. The author was completely apparent in his mind not to use any chemical which will be toxic to the soil, the plants and eventually to human health. But for Moru Dada and his friends who were used to traditional farming, this conclusion of the author was absurd. It took a lot of assuring to substantiate that Moru Dada and his friends did not use any chemicals on the plantation. They opposed to understand how crops could grow without pesticides sprinkles.
