in x-direction:

x = 4t^2 + 7t
v = dx /dt = 8t + 7
a = dv /dt = 8

in y-direction:

y = 5t
v = dt /dt = 5
a = dv /dt = 0

so,
net Acceleration at any time (t) is --- vector addition of both in x- and y- direction.

a = 8 unit .... ans...
