Therefore A on reflection by Y-axis = C co-ordinates
= (-(3), 6)
= (-3,6)
Therefore B on reflection by Y-axis = D co-ordinates
= (-3, -(4))
= (-3,-4)
Figure ACBD is a rectangle. (you need to plot the points on a graph)
Area = length*breadth
On observing graph,
length = 6 units
breadth = 2 units
Therefore, area = 6*2 = 12 sq.units
