 \sqrt{5} x - 5 = 0 \\  \\  \sqrt{5} x = 5 \\  \\ x =  \frac{5}{ \sqrt{5} }

By rationalizing the denominator ,,,,

x =  \frac{5}{ \sqrt{5} }  \times  \frac{ \sqrt{5} }{ \sqrt{5} }  \\  \\ x =  \frac{5 \sqrt{5} }{ { \sqrt{5} }^{2} }  \\  \\ x =  \frac{5 \sqrt{5} }{5}  \\  \\ x =  \sqrt{5}

Therefore ,,,,

The zero of p(x) = 5x - 5 is 5
