Notice that all the coefficients are even.
We can therefore divide by 2 to simplify matters.

2x2−6x+4=0 ÷2

x2−3x+2=0  Find the factors of 2 which add up to 3.

(x−2)(x−1)=0

Each factor could be equal to 0.
x−2=0⇒x=2

x−1=0⇒x=1

The given equation is

2 {x}^{2} - 6x + 4
We have tho find the zero of the polynomial Hence,
2 {x}^{2} - 6x + 4 = 0
Now we have to factorize this equation

We have to split the middle term

2 {x}^{2} - 2x - 4x + 4 = 0
Now on taking common

2x(x - 1) - 4(x - 1) = 0
Again taking common x-1

(x - 1)(2x - 4) = 0
Or
x - 1 = 0 \: \: = > x = 1
And
2x - 4 = 0 \: \: = > 2x = 4 \\ x = 2

Hence 1 and 2 are zeros of the polynomial

hope it helps you
