Explanation:

3x² + 15x + 12 = 0

3x² +12x + 3x + 12 = 0

3x( x + 4) + 3 ( x + 4) = 0

(3x + 3) ( x + 4 )= 0

Either,

3x + 3 = 0

3x = -3

x = -3/3

x = -1

or,

x + 4 = 0

x= -4

Hence,

x = ( -1, -4)

Given:

The polynomial 3x²+15x+12

To find:

The zeroes of the given polynomial

Calculation:

The zeroes of the polymial can be found by using factorisation method

=> 3x²+15x+12 = 0

    3x²+12x+3x+12 = 0

    3x(x+4) + 3(x+4) = 0

    (3x+3)(x+4) =0

Case 1:

 => 3x+3 = 0

      3x = -3

      x = -1

Case 2:

 => x+4 = 0

      x = -4

The zeroes of the polynomial 3x²+15x+12 are -1, -4
