We have equation : x 2 - 88 x + 125

And we know quadratic formula :

x = −b±b2 − 4ac√2a

Here a = 1 , b = - 88 and c = 125

So,

x = −( −88 )±( −88 )2 − 4× 1 × 125√2 × 1 = 88 ±7744 −500√2 = 88 ±21811√2= 44 ±1811‾‾‾‾‾√ = 44 ± 42.55

So,

Zeros of our polynomial x = 44 + 42.55 = 86.55

And

x = 44 - 42.55 = 1.45

So,

Both zeros are positive .
