Max zeroes of any polynomial is the same as the degree of polynomial....

suppose p(x) = x+3
it is a linear polynomial
now p(x)=0
means x+3 =0
= x=-3
-3 is the zero of the given linear polynomial
in short a no. which makes the value of given polynomial equal to zero
