Wars have always affected the humankind adversely! Be it the World War I, or World War II, or Kargil War, or Franco-Prussian War, their consequences have always been catastrophic for common people. Wars leave in their wake, death, destruction, maimed survivors, incomplete families, shattered economies, flora and fauna of the war-affected region brutally annihilated. It takes years of hard work and planning to bring back life to normalcy after the rages of war. In the story 'Two Gentlemen of Verona', we see the piteous condition of the war survivors, Nicola and Jacopo struggling so hard to save their war affected, tuberculosis-ridden sister. Not only they were rendered orphan by the war, it also deprived them of the joys of childhood. Mankind must say goodbye to wars for ever.
