Their resistors R1, R2 and R3 are connected in parallel with each other a voltage supply of 220 V. A voltmeter is connected in parallel with all the resistors one by one what will be the difference in the reading of the voltmeter.

then the p.d between each of the resistors is equal to the original voltage source.

220 volt is the potential difference between each of the resistors R1,R2 and R3.

So,the voltmeter reading will not change.It will show 220 volt potential difference each of the time.

So,Net difference in the reading of voltmeter=220-220 = 0 V
