given condition;

x+y=37...........(i)

x-y=11.............(ii)

from eq (i) and (ii)

2x = 48

x = 24

put x = 24 in eq(i) we get,

x+y=37

24+y=37

y=37-24

y=13.

therefore, x = 24 and y = 13
