The poem ‘Monday morning’ is about a girl who wishes to wake up and play on Monday morning. The girl says good morning to the sky, the sun, bees, birds, grass and trees.

She asked them how could they know that the night has gone and the day has come. How could the birds sing only in the morning. She was admired by the beauty of extending grass and the work of the brown bees.

She also said that she is awake and she is ready to play with them. She said she would start the day with utmost joy and she can be with the same energy all day. She wishes to play with them for a long time but she has to get ready for her school.
