There are several themes in the poem "Fire and ice" by Robert frost including fear, love, hate And choices.

The poem packed with numerous emotions, such as humor, want animosity

and bluntness, and it leaves the reader with an ambiguous response to the choices presented.

Frost equates fire with desire,a burning force that originates out of love and is equally destructive as ice,Which he presents as simlar to hate.In addition,Frost seems to feels no fear while referring to a daring question of how the world will end.He even finds humor and detachment in relating the different methods In which the world could be destroyed, further increasing the impact of underlying message. In the end the poem leaves the reader guessing as to which choice, fire or ice is a better mode of destruction of the earth as they are both equally damaging.

Hope this helps you.....
