Theme of the story 'Star Ducks' is simplicity of village folks. The 'Star Ducks' tells the story of a city reporter who was called in to report a 'strange plane crash' in a village. He finds out that it is in fact, an alien landing and that the aliens had contacted the Alsop couple in the village.
