Theperpendicular distance between the point of application of force and the fulcrum is 2m when a force of 50N act on a rigid body. Calculate the moment of force​

Solution :

Force = 50 N

Perpendicular Distance = 2 m

Moment of Force (or Torque) = Force * Perpendicular Distance

= 50 * 2 Nm

= 100 or 10² Nm

So , moment of Force should be 10² Nm.
