total candies = 10*12=120
no of candies taken =10*3=30
therefore candies left are 120+30=90

Answer 2

there are 10 bowls [each carry 12 candies ]

10 bowls carry = 12*10 

10 bowls carry = 120 candies

3 candies taken from each bowl, (3*10) taken from 10 bowls,


Now,

left candies= 120-30
                  = 90 

[90/10] candies left in each bowl

9 candies are left in each bowl
