Answer:

a. no. of prime no.s from 11 to 20 =

11,13,17,19 - 4 prime no.s

Total outcomes = 10

Probability of drawing a card with a prime no. on it = No. of favourable outcomes/Total outcomes

= 4/10

= 2/5

b. no. of composite no.s from 11 to 20 =

12,14,15,16,18,20 - 4 composite no.s

Total outcomes = 10

Probability of drawing a card with a composite no. on it = no. of favourable outcomes/Total outcomes

= 6/10

=3/5

c. multiples of 6 from 11 to 20 = 12,18 - 2 multiples

Total outcomes = 10

Probability of drawing a card with a multiple of 6 on it = no. of favourable outcomes/total outcomes

= 2/10

=1/5
