There are 10 persons who are to be seated around a circular table. Find the probability that two particular persons will always sit together.

No. Of possible outcomes = 10
Probability = 2/10 = 1/5

Let the two persons be A and B
The favourable outcomes will be (A, B) and (B, A).
Possible outcomes are (A, B), (A, C),.............. (A, J), (J, A),....... (B, A)
No. Of favourable oucomes=2
No. Of possible outcomes=18
Probability =2/18=1/9
