there are 10 resistance each of value 1 by 4 ohm what are the maximum and the minimum resistance which can be obtained by their combination?

1...maximum when all in series ...all ten will in series the add 4 ohm ten times then.....4+4+4+4+4+4+4+4.....= 40....
and when in parallel resisstence will be in minimum....so.....add 1/4 + 1/4 +1/4 +...... = 10/4 = 2.5
