there are 10 resistance each of value q/4ohm.what are the maximum and the minimum resistance which can be obtained by their combination?

Maximum Resistance is obtained in Series Circuit.

Max R = 1/4 + 1/4 + 1/4 ....... ( 10 Times )

Max R = 10 × 1/4 = 5/2

= 2.5 ohm

Minimum resistance can be obtained by Parallel Circuit.

Minimum R = 1/R = 4 + 4 + 4 ..... ( 10 Times )

1/R = 40

=> R = 1/40

=> 0.025 ohm
