25 more boys join the camo = 125 boys
No.of boys = 100 . 125
No. of days = 20 . X
100/20= 125/X
100X= 20×125
X=20×125 ÷ 100
days= 25

\underline\textsf{the provisions will last for \underline\red{ 16days}}\\\textsf{if \underline\red{25}more boys join the hostel }

\frak{Given}\begin{cases}\tt{100\: students } \\ \texttt{Food provisions =20days } \\\texttt{25 more children join group }\end{cases}

\large\underline\frak{Suppose,}

\small\textsf{ The provisions last =\red{Y days}}

\large\underline\frak{to find:- }

\underbrace\texttt{How long provision last? }

\small\texttt{When the number of students is 125}

\begin{tabular}{IcIclc}</p><p>\cline{1-3}Number of students &amp; 100 &amp; 125 \\</p><p>\cline{1-3} Number of day &amp; 20&amp;Y \\</p><p>\cline{1-3}</p><p>\end{tabular}

\sf100 \times 20 = 125 \times y

\boxed{\underline{\sf {\frac{100 \times 20}{125}  = y}}}

\sf16 = y

\large\red{\boxed{\sf{y = 16}}}

\underline\textsf{the provisions will last for \underline\red{ 16days}}\\\textsf{if \underline\red{25}more boys join the hostel }
