Step-by-step explanation:

Total students=1000

no of students play tennis=480

no of students play football=400

no of students play both (tennis and football)=60

now, no of students who did not play either of the games =Total no of students - no of students play football+ no of students play tennis+ no of students who play both

no of students who did not play either of the games=1000-400+480+60

=1000-940

Answer:

60

Step-by-step explanation:

Students who play tennis = 480

Students who play football = 400

Students who play both = 60

Total students who play = 480 + 400 + 60

                                        = 940

Total students in school = 1000

Students who play nothing = 1000 - 940

                                             = 60
