There are students = 1000

So the students are sitting in equal rows will also be equal to columns=

The closest perfect root to 1000 is 961 which is = 31

There will be rows and columns = 31

So 1000 - 961 = 31

::  There will be 31 rows and columns and 39 students will be left out.

Hope it helps and mark my answer brainlist if you get any help.
